"Eastern Promises" faworytem kanadyjskich Oscarów

W Toronto ogłoszono listę nominowanych do najważniejszych kanadyjskich nagród filmowych - Genies. Faworytami do zwycięstwa są dwa filmy Davida Cronenberga "Eastern Promises" i Rogera Spottiswoode'a "Shake Hands With the Devil". Każdy z nich zdobył po 12 nominacji.

W przeciwieństwie do poprzednich lat, w tym roku kanadyjskie oscary zdominowały produkcje angielsko- nie zaś francuskojęzyczne.

Nagrody zostaną wręczone 3 marca w Toronto.
